Cultural Eduations

Explore Korea’s Culture Through Hanbok, History, and Heritage

At the Hanbok Resource Culture Foundation, we believe education is the gateway to meaningful cultural connection. Our educational programs introduce students, educators, and lifelong learners to the richness of Korean history, heritage, and identity—using Hanbok as a powerful visual and cultural lens. From primary classrooms to university lecture halls, our goal is to make Korean traditions accessible, accurate, and inspiring for all.

K–12 Cultural Curriculum

Our K–12 Cultural Curriculum delivers engaging, age-appropriate lessons that align with U.S. educational standards, using Hanbok to explore Korean history, symbolism, and etiquette through hands-on activities like garment coloring, norigae crafting, and traditional games. Teachers are supported with ready-to-use materials and optional virtual sessions with cultural educators.

Higher Education Engagement

Our Higher Education Engagement program offers in-depth exploration of Hanbok within Korean history, gender, class, and identity, featuring guest lectures, panel discussions, and collaborations across departments like fashion, sociology, and Asian studies. Faculty can also access research resources and host Hanbok-inspired exhibitions on campus.

Community-Based Learning

Our Community-Based Learning program brings cultural education to life through public lectures, family workshops, and storytelling sessions at libraries, museums, and community centers—helping Korean-American families connect with their heritage while engaging the broader public in meaningful, accessible ways.
