Hanbok Resource Culture Foundation

Where heritage meets humanity

The Hanbok Resource Culture Foundation was born out of a deep love for Korea’s traditional attire, Hanbok—a garment that embodies grace, symbolism, and centuries of cultural artistry.

The Foundation serves as a bridge between generations, cultures, and identities—preserving the beauty of Korean tradition while reimagining its place in the world today.

From schools and museums to communities and families, our mission is to educate, celebrate, and connect people through the timeless story of Hanbok, arts, and Korean Cultural Heritage.

Cultural Preservation with Purpose

We honor centuries of Korean craftsmanship and tradition while encouraging creative expression in modern contexts.

Education Across Generations

From youth to seniors, we develop engaging programs that share the deeper meanings behind colors, patterns, and the artistry of Hanbok.

Inclusivity & Cultural Exchange

Our platform welcomes all—regardless of background—to experience and appreciate Korean heritage in a meaningful way.

Our Mission

To preserve and promote the cultural legacy of Hanbok and Korean traditions by creating accessible, inclusive, and inspiring educational experiences across the United States. We aim to empower future Korean-American generations and foster cross-cultural understanding through programs, exhibitions, and community partnerships.

Our Vision

We envision a future where Korean culture is recognized, respected, and joyfully celebrated—where traditions like Hanbok become part of the multicultural story of America, carried proudly by both Korean-American youth and those discovering it for the first time.

Founder's Greetings

At the Hanbok Resource Culture Foundation, our mission is deeply rooted in the belief that culture is not only a reflection of our identity, but also a bridge that connects people across generations, backgrounds, and borders.

As the founder, I am proud to present this platform as a celebration of Hanbok-Korea’s timeless traditional attire-and the rich history, artistry, and values it represents.  Our work is dedicated not only to reserving this beautiful cultural heritage, but also to making it accessible and meaningful to new audiences, especially here in the United States.

For future Korean-American generations, we hope this foundation serves as a gateway to a deeper understanding of their roots, empowering them with pride in their heritage while helping them build a confident bicultural identity.   Through education, exhibitions, and community programs, we strive to keep the legacy of Hanbok alive in a way that speaks to both tradition and modern expression.

For our American friends and communities unfamiliar with Korean culture, we warmly invite you to explore the grace, symbolism, and stories woven into every Hanbok.  By engaging with our programs, you’ll gain insight into Korea’s vibrant past and evolving present-fostering greater appreciation, respect, and cultural exchange.

The Hanbok Resource Culture Foundation is more than a repository of history; it is a living, growing space for discovery, creativity, and connection.  Together, let us celebrate diversity by honoring the beauty of Korean tradition while nurturing a shared cultural future.

With gratitude
